Futster is a football-themed game that combines team management and NFT collectibles, inspired by the deep-rooted passion for the sport in Brazil and around the world. In football, as in many other sports, the desire to collect memories of iconic moments, athletes, and competitions is a powerful driving force.
In Futster, users can earn tokens by engaging in the game's daily activities, such as winning matches and championships, trading athletes and accessories in the marketplace, and much more. Players can enjoy the game casually, collect athlete cards, jerseys, and accessories from their favorite clubs, and of course, create unique and powerful teams to compete fiercely!
This was the first commercial project I worked on as a game designer that was actually released. From the very beginning, I was actively involved in its development, which allowed me to define its core mechanics, plan the gameplay loops, and establish the design pillars. In addition, I was responsible for designing and managing the game's economy, which was an exciting challenge, especially since it featured a dynamic economy. I'm very grateful to have had the opportunity to experiment with and learn about game economy in a commercial environment, and this experience has certainly enriched my background as a game designer.
